Inspection
What this involves.
A roof inspection after a storm should answer one question: did the storm damage the roof? That is a different question from how to get an insurance company to buy a new one, and the two should not be the same conversation. Our inspection is free and carries no obligation, and a roof that came through fine gets told it came through fine.
It starts with a conversation about what you experienced during the storm and anything you have noticed since: a stain on a ceiling, shingles in the yard, dents in the gutters. Then we go over the roof itself. Shingles get checked for hail impacts, bruising and granule loss. Flashing, vents and pipe boots get checked for dents and gaps. We look for wind uplift, missing pieces, and anywhere water could find a way in.
How It Works
Free inspection
We inspect the roof and the exterior and document any damage with photos and notes.
You decide on the claim
If there is storm damage worth filing for, we help you understand what to tell your carrier. The decision is yours.
Adjuster and scope
We can meet the adjuster on site, review the carrier’s estimate against our findings, and send supplements for anything it missed.
The new roof
Once the scope is agreed and you sign, our own employees install your new roof.
The Difference
What to know before you decide.
The exterior matters as much as the roof. Hail that hits a roof also hits gutters, downspouts, siding, window frames, screens and outdoor AC units, and dents there help confirm that the storm was strong enough to do damage above. We also look for early signs of leaks and structural movement that may not show inside the house yet.
You get the findings in plain language with photographs, so you can see what we saw without climbing anything. If we believe an insurance claim is appropriate, we go through the damage with you and explain how to talk to your carrier about it. If the damage is limited, we tell you what a targeted repair involves. If a full replacement is needed, we lay out the next steps from start to finish.
A few things make the visit smoother. Make a list of any leaks or water spots you have noticed since the storm. Photograph damage you can see safely from the ground. Have your policy information handy so you know your deductible and whether the roof is covered at replacement cost or actual cash value. Note the date of the storm and anything you remember about hail size. Clear the driveway so the roof and the perimeter of the house are easy to reach.
Rockwall and Fate sit in the path of many of the storms that cross the eastern side of the metroplex, and Celina and Prosper take their share from the north. We inspect roofs on homes and businesses across all of them.

Inspection, answered.
Is the roof inspection free?
Yes. It is free and carries no obligation to file a claim or hire us.
How long does an inspection take?
It depends on the size and pitch of the roof and how much there is to document. Plan to have someone available to talk through the findings at the end.
What should I have ready?
The storm date, any leaks or stains you have noticed, photos of damage visible from the ground, and your policy details so you know your deductible.
What if you do not find any damage?
Then we tell you the roof is fine. That is useful to know, and it costs you nothing.
